2009-09-16: @neuFUSE workshop on CFD modeling of cerebral aneurysms
Check out the details!Patient-specific modeling of cerebral aneurysms and particularly hemodynamics is one of the topics of the @aneuIST Project, an EU funded initiative (contract no. IST-027703) which involves 28 partners across Europe. @neuFUSE, one of the software suites developed in the project, is a promising tool that may aid clinicians and researchers in their decision-making. In this workshop we will focus on the haemodynamics tool-chain creating patient-specific geometries from medical images and then preparing them for performing flow computations. Particular emphasis is put on hands-on sessions in which participants will learn to master the tools under guidance by their very creators. The workshop will be held in the computer lab of the Bertinoro Center, at 14.30 on the 16th September.
