Abstract submission

Extended deadline is 14th February 2009

We invite submission of original work related to all aspects of computational bioengineering.  In addition, we invite papers on the following special topics:
-    Data management and modelling tools
-    Methods for subject-specific modelling
-    Experimental methods for models validation
-    New numerical methods and computational tools
-    Probabilistic and optimisation methods in bioengineering
-    Multiscale modelling and integrative research

To submit an abstract:
  1. Download the ICCB2009 Microsoft Word template, which includes all the instructions to prepare a properly formatted one-page abstract. Abstracts will be published online and on electronic supports “as they are”; thus, we ask you to strictly comply with the formatting rules you will find in the template file. Submitted papers will be checked for compliance (papers not meeting the specifications will be automatically rejected).
  2. Create a PDF version of your abstract and send it via e-mail to submission@iccb2009.org; abstracts sent to any other e-mail address will not be considered. The maximum file size accepted by the system is 2 MB. If you submit more than one abstract, please send them as separate mails. To bypass our anti-spam filter, the subject line of the mail must be “ICCB2009 abstract submission”. 
  3. After submission you should receive a an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail from the conference organisation within five days (except for the Christmas holidays break, during which our offices will be closed); if this does not happen, please check with us by writing at info@iccb2009.org
  4. Abstracts will be received until January 31st 2009 February 14th, 2009. After this date, abstracts will be rejected.
  5. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding authors no later than March 30th, 2009.
